Today’s tasks are minimal, as I’d like you all to focus on revising your language narrative essays and writing your cover letters for said essays.

BUT I’d also like you to read and annotate another language narrative — Gloria Anzaldúa’s “How to Tame a Wild Tongue.” This will take you about 30 minutes and will be an important part of our lesson on Wednesday, so do take the time to read it.

Besides that, however, please:

+Write your cover letter and paste it on the top of your document (Draft 2 should be a single document: cover letter + essay).

And revise your essay by:

+Reading through the comments from your peers (if you haven’t torn into these already!).
+Considering their comments & adding/subtracting/modifying where you see fit. (Remember: You are the writer. The scope of revisions is up to you.)

+Submit this document to Dropbox by 8am Wednesday, September 22.
