Today’s class will center around questions about the rhetorical analysis essays and a bit of analysis practice using real world examples.
Before class, please post to this Google Doc either:
1) a static image of an advertisement (could be a subway ad or a screenshot of an ad from Instagram, or a picture in a magazine… etc.)
2) a link to an ad on YouTube or TikTok.
Be sure to include your name under the ad so that I can give you extra credit (this is worth +1pt).
For homework, please:
- Revise your rhetorical analysis essay based on peer comments. Write your cover letter, and add it to the top of your draft document. Share this document with me (Molly) via email.
- Draft midterm reflection.
- Sign up for a time to meet with Molly or Caitlin.
